Common questions
In the studio, you create forms using drag-and-drop :
- 9 field types: Text, Email, Number, Textarea, Select, Radio, Checkbox, Date, Title
- Unlimited fields: Add any number of custom fields
- Live preview: See every change instantly before it goes live
- Conditional logic: If-then rules for dynamic forms
- Automatic validation: Zod schema is generated from the field configuration — client-side and server-side
Conditional fields only appear if certain conditions are met:
- "Company data" field only available for "Business" registration type
- “Allergies” field only appears when catering is activated.
- Multiple conditions can be combined
Advantage: Participants only see relevant fields. Shorter forms lead to higher completion rates and cleaner data.
Quick Event supports three registration types :
- Public: Any visitor can register via the event page — ideal for conferences and trade fairs
- Private (Invite-only): Only invited contacts receive a personalized registration link — ideal for corporate events
- Hybrid: Public and exclusive tickets available simultaneously — different target groups within one event
The registration assistant guides participants through three steps:
Step 1 — Select quota: Choose ticket type, real-time availability
Step 2 — Enter data: Fill out form fields for each person, real-time validation
Step 3 — Summary: Check and confirm all information
Upon completion, participants automatically receive a confirmation email with a QR code.
Each booking goes through three statuses :
- Pending: Registration received, automatic confirmation of receipt via email
- Confirmed: Participation confirmed, QR code and, if applicable, PDF ticket sent, check-in possible
- Cancelled: Cancelled, place automatically released, participant notified
Quick Event automatically sends the appropriate email whenever the status changes.
All form data is available via several methods :
- CSV export: Download all login data in Excel-compatible format
- REST API: Programmatic access to all data
- Webhooks: Real-time notifications for new registrations
- Participant management: All fields are directly searchable and filterable — no separate import required
Yes. Quick Event lets you set a capacity limit per event and per ticket type (quota). Once a quota is fully booked, that option is automatically deactivated so no one can over-register. The remaining capacity is shown in real time to participants during sign-up, so there is no need to monitor registrations manually.
Yes. Quick Event supports group registrations: you set a maximum number of people per booking in the studio, and participants fill out the registration form individually for each person in their group. If you only allow one person per booking, the group-size step is automatically skipped to keep the flow short.
Yes. Password protection is a built-in option in Quick Event. You activate it in the event settings, and participants must enter the password before they can see the registration form. This lets you share the event link publicly — via a newsletter or internal portal — while still limiting access to the right audience.
Yes. Quick Event sends a confirmation email automatically whenever a booking status changes. After initial sign-up, participants receive an order confirmation; once you approve the booking, they receive a full confirmation including their QR code and, if applicable, a PDF ticket or Apple Wallet pass. You can customize all email templates in the studio.
Yes. The form builder uses drag-and-drop reordering — grab any field by its handle and drag it to a new position. The other fields adjust automatically. A live preview updates instantly so you always see exactly how the form will look to participants before it goes live.
Yes. All forms generated by Quick Event are mobile-optimized out of the box. Fields adapt to any screen size, tap targets are sized for touchscreens, and select fields use the native OS dropdown for familiar operation. Date fields open the native calendar widget, and forms load reliably even on slow mobile connections — no extra configuration required.
