Common questions
In the studio, under Quotas, you can create any number of ticket categories. Each quota has a title, an optional description, and an optional capacity limit.
- Unlimited number: Create as many quotas as you need — Standard, VIP, Early Bird, Workshop Add-ons
- Capacity limits: Define a limit per quota or leave the field blank for unlimited availability.
- Group bookings: Use "persons per unit" to represent table tickets, family packages or team tickets.
- Early Bird: Create your own limited-quantity allocation for staggered availability
Once a quota is sold out, it will be automatically deactivated in the registration form.
Quick Event automatically generates print-quality PDF tickets — professional and ready to send immediately:
- Speed: 500 PDF tickets in approximately 30 seconds
- Template editor: Customize the template with logo, participant name, QR code and any fields via drag and drop.
- Automatic delivery: PDFs are attached to the confirmation email.
- Re-download: Participants can download their ticket at any time via the confirmation page.
The embedded QR code is unique per participant and will be scanned at the entrance.
Yes. In addition to PDF tickets, Quick Event offers Apple Wallet passes with the following benefits:
- Lock screen access: The passport is stored directly on the iPhone — no need to search emails or open PDFs.
- Offline capable: The pass works without an internet connection at the entrance.
- QR code included: Same code as in the PDF ticket
Wallet passes are sent via email along with the PDF ticket and can alternatively be added via the confirmation page.
Check-in takes place directly in the mobile browser — no app installation required:
- Speed: Check-in takes less than 2 seconds
- Multi-station: Any number of devices (tablet, smartphone, laptop) can work simultaneously as check-in stations.
- Real-time sync: All stations synchronize instantly — a check-in at station A is immediately visible at station B.
- Duplicate detection: Duplicate check-ins are detected and displayed with a notification.
- Live dashboard: Track check-in progress in real time
Open the check-in page for your event in your browser and point your camera at the QR code.
Each QR code contains an encrypted token that is unique to each participant:
- Unique: Each participant receives an individual code — forgery or sharing is virtually impossible.
- Tamper-proof: Each code is unique and cannot be copied or transferred.
- Instant verification: Invalid or already used codes are detected immediately during the scan.
- Available multiple times: The QR code is included in the PDF ticket, the wallet pass, and the confirmation email.
This way, the participant always has at least one access method — even if the PDF is not readily available.
Yes. Assign a price to any quota and Quick Event activates a secure Stripe Connect checkout that supports cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA, and other local payment methods. After a successful charge, the attendee automatically receives their PDF ticket and Apple Wallet pass — exactly as they would for a free ticket. Registration is a one-off €590 per event regardless of how many guests come; selling paid tickets adds a payment fee of 3.25 % + €0.25 per booking (plus VAT on the fee), card processing included. No fixed monthly fee, no setup cost, no charge per guest.
No app installation is required. Quick Event's check-in view runs entirely in a standard mobile browser on any smartphone or tablet. Just open the check-in page for your event, point the camera at a QR code, and the result appears in under two seconds. This means any volunteer with a phone can become a check-in station without downloading anything.
Yes. Any number of devices can operate as simultaneous check-in stations. All stations synchronize in real time, so a guest checked in at one entrance is immediately marked as arrived on every other device. Duplicate scans are detected automatically and flagged with a notification, preventing the same ticket from being accepted twice.
Use the 'People per unit' field on a quota to represent multi-person tickets such as table reservations, family packages, or team passes. Setting the value to 4, for example, means one booking registers all four people at once — the system creates individual participant records for each person without requiring multiple separate bookings.
Refunds are issued in a single click from the Quick Event studio under Bookings. VAT-compliant invoices are generated automatically, and any payment disputes are handled through the Stripe Dashboard. Quick Event never holds attendee funds — Stripe Connect routes every payout directly to the organizer's bank account.
Every participant has a personalized confirmation page with a permanent download link for their PDF ticket and an option to add the Apple Wallet pass. They can access this page at any time without contacting the organizer. The same unique QR code is also included as a standalone image in the original confirmation email, giving attendees at least three ways to retrieve their entry credential.
