Common questions
Quick Event offers fast CSV import with automatic field mapping :
- Automatic column detection: Drag your CSV file into the upload area — Quick Event automatically recognizes first name, last name, email, company and other fields.
- Duplicate detection: Fuzzy matching of email addresses prevents duplicate entries
- Performance: 1,000 contacts imported in 10–15 seconds
- Results overview: After the import, you can see how many contacts were newly created, updated, or skipped.
- Individual contacts: Can also be created manually via the interface.
Quick Event uses a seven-stage status workflow that updates automatically:
- Created: Contact created, not yet contacted
- Pending: Email in the queue
- Delivered: Email successfully delivered
- Clicked: Recipient clicked a link in the email
- Started: Registration form opened, but not completed
- Registered: Successful registration — contact is also recorded as a participant
- Rejected: Manually marked or actively logged out
The status enables targeted follow-up campaigns — e.g., reminders only to contacts with the status "Delivered" or "Clicked".
Combinable filters and saved segments for precise target groups:
- Freely combinable filters: status, company, position, salutation, custom fields and more
- Saved filter sets: Frequently used segments can be accessed with a single click — available to all team members
- Dynamic update: New contacts that meet the criteria appear automatically.
- Bulk operations: Change status, assign campaign, CSV export, or apply deletion to filtered lists
- No Excel dependency: All segmentation functions directly in Quick Event
Template editor with German personalization and AI support:
- Structured editor: subject line, salutation, body text, call to action and footer
- German salutation automatic: “Dear Dr. Müller” is automatically generated from gender, title and last name.
- Dynamic placeholders: First name, last name, company, position, event date, location and more
- AI-generated content: Describe the purpose of the email — the AI will create a complete draft.
- Preview and test: Check personalization and send test emails before the campaign goes live.
No — Quick Event offers unlimited email sending in all plans, with no extra charge per email. The status of each contact updates automatically as the email is sent.
Data protection is integrated into the system:
- Unsubscribe link: Every email automatically contains an opt-out link that immediately excludes the contact from future campaigns.
- European data centers: All data is processed and stored in the EU.
Yes — Quick Event includes a built-in email campaign module, so you never need a separate tool like Mailchimp just for event invitations. You import your guest list, create a campaign using the template editor, and send directly from Quick Event. Delivery runs on SendGrid infrastructure, the same used by Uber and Spotify.
Quick Event automatically tracks each contact's status as it progresses through the registration funnel. Contacts who received and clicked your email are marked 'Clicked', while those who started filling in the form but didn't finish are marked 'Started'. You can filter your contact list to either status and send a targeted follow-up campaign to just that segment — no manual list-building needed.
Yes, this is built in. Quick Event automatically generates correct German salutations — including title (Dr., Prof.), gender-appropriate form (Herr/Frau), and last name — based on the data stored for each contact. Austrian and Swiss conventions are also supported. This happens automatically for every recipient without any manual effort.
Quick Event has an AI content generator in the email template editor. Describe the purpose of your email in a few words — for example, 'formal reminder for next week's gala' — and the AI creates a complete draft including subject line, salutation, body, and call to action. You can then edit the draft before sending.
Quick Event links your contact list directly to the registration system. As soon as a contact completes the registration form, their status automatically updates from 'Clicked' or 'Started' to 'Registered', and they also appear in the participants list. You always have a live view of who has responded without any manual reconciliation between tools.
Yes. Contacts, saved filter segments, and email campaign templates are all shared across your team in Quick Event. Saved filter sets created by one team member are immediately available to all others with access to the event. There is no per-seat restriction on using the contact and email features.
